People are what make or break a company. At Veteran United Home Loans, the people are professional, caring, and take care of you. That speaks volumes for Veteran United Home Loans! They really do care about you and Ella Owens is the best! I give Ella and Veterans United 100 stars! The process of refinancing my VA loan went smoothly and they made sure I understood everything encountered along the way. I've used my VA Home Loan benefits four times and this was by far the easiest and most stress free process I've ever encountered. I've dealt with other Veteran Home Loan companies who don't call you back and make you feel like you are bothering them and it was a waste of time to call them. I would highly recommend Veterans United Home Loans to all Veterans - it is a most pleasant experience!

We picked Veteran’s United because of the positive reviews online when researching refinance mortgages. We were also happy to see a local office just down the street from us. When I called to speak to the next available loan rep, they put me thru to Glenn. Right from the start we felt comfortable with our decision. He sent me his application link and my wife and I immediately submitted our cash-out refinance request. Glenn educated us on interest rates and, after a short wait, got us a rate that knocked off 1.125% from our current mortgage loan. (We didn’t realize that rates fluctuated so much from day to day.). Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, the entire loan process was online and took approx 1 month. The only time we had to go in was for the official signing and they had desks and chairs spread out to accommodate social distancing requirements. The cash out was a life changer for us as it eradicated credit card debt that we have had for quite a while. I would recommend Veteran’s United and Glenn to anyone seeking a new mortgage. And I would also recommend everyone check out the organization “Veterans United Foundation“ to see where some of the money goes when you work with Veteran’s United. Thank you again Glenn and Veteran’s United for an awesome refi experience!
The staff I worked with was professional and courteous. The website was easy to navigate and was user friendly.I did have some issues with underwriting as they forgot to remove my VA funding fee (perk of disability rating). Additionally,
The initial closing cost estimate was half of what I was being charged at closeout and I had to get 2 appraisals (only charged for 1) because the initial appraisal ordered was not a VA appraisal. After I brought those concerns to the staff I worked with, they were very responsive to address the issues quickly and we closed out with a good rate. The customer service was great, but had I not brought up my concerns about the charges seen, I would have paid a few thousand more at closing.I have used Veterans United for a refi before and have had overall good experiences. For new customers considering using their service, just be sure to compare initial estimates with follow up and final costs so you understand what you are paying for. Loan officers and underwriters have alot of accounts they manage and it's up to you to make sure you are getting the best rates to close.I thank Tammy and Kodi for their professional interactions.
