I would recommend Veterans United one thousand percent and then some. They were so communicative throughout the entire process. Never once did I feel as though I did not understand what was happening or lost. Any questions that I did have, they answered and were extremely patient. The entire VU team was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It made me feel as though this was not my first time buying a home because it felt so natural. I was afraid the process would be long, hard, and maybe someone would pull the wool over my eyes. But the transparency of the VU team made all those fears go away. They truly are in this for the right reasons and it shows. They helped me and my family purchase our first home in less than a month and we are forever grateful and blessed!

The Veterans United team really made my home purchase easy. From the start they were on top of every detail. I can’t express my gratitude for the attention to details, and the professionalism demonstrated by this extraordinary group. I would recommend Veterans United to all veterans who are considering a home purchase.
VU is a great option for first time home buyers (and it was for my first home purchase) but if you may have some complicated factors, of are buying a fairly expensive home, I would shop around. The origination fee is always 10% so if you're buying a $500k house, that's $5000 you have to pay JUST in origination fees. Several things were missed in our underwriting and closing that put us in super uncomfortable positions multiple times. Something would be missed and they would come to a solution and say "okay that's it! You're good to go" until something else would magically get brought up. Closing tasks we're done last minute causing our closing process to be a disaster. People working our case were missing things because it was their "first time" so no, I will not be using VU again and I would recommend that if you're considering VU, that you do at least shop around for other VA loan providers.
Bobby, Gavin, Lynette and the entire team at Veterans United were a thrill to work with! They handled all of my questions, even the silly and late night questions, with expert guidance and care for me as a Veteran looking for his first home. They were all there every step of the way and made sure to assist me with finding me and my wife's dream home! I could of not asked for a better team at my side during this journey! I'm very glad I chose Veterans United to purchase my first home. The whole home buying process seemed very overwhelming but they somehow made it understandable in bite size pieces. I was super anxious and lost at the beginning and they held my hand at each step. With their insurance brokerage, I found cheaper auto, home, and flood insurance.
